Today (Aug. 26) is National Dog Day and we're here to celebrate all the wonderful dogs and furry best friends out there that bring joy to the lives of Hollywood's biggest celebrities. It's not just about the celebrities though, we're here to embrace dogs of all kinds. Whether it has long hair, a short tail or big floppy ears, we love them all. Dogs are loyal, energetic and offer an endless supply of love to the hearts of millions. This post is for animal lovers who have a soft spot the canine persuasion.
There are hundreds of celebrities who own dogs, but because we didn't want you to sit there scrolling for hours of every celebrity on the planet with an adorable pooch, we compiled a short list of furry (and some not so furry) dogs and the owners who adore them.
Check out which furballs made our list below and then let us know which ones are your favorites. Also, don't forget that many celebrities advocate for pet adoptions from animal shelters rather than buying a designer dog. Check out your local animal shelter when you are looking for a dog or cat.
