Self-proclaimed "king of the south" Master P (Percy Miller) dropped by Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club this week with hosts Angela Yee, Charlamagne and DJ Envy (after paying a visit to the crew in January) and discussed current projects he's working on in great depth. During P's extensive 40-minute interview, the mogul and rapper shared his perspective on the newly released N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. The New Orleans native also detailed stories of being threatened by Suge Knight, signing Snoop Dogg on the heels of his stint with Death Row Records and what fans can expect from his upcoming biopic film.

Shortly following the release of Straight Outta Compton, P announced to the world that he too was working a movie documenting the rise and fall of his label, No Limit Records. However, in the interview, he suggests that his biopic would differ from N.W.A.'s simply because he, along with others, felt like Eazy E's character was not accurately portrayed in the film. He makes mention that unlike their script, his film will be 100 percent accurate when detailing his empire's rise to dominance back in 1990's starting from owning his own record store to building a label as well as venturing into films

The "Power" rapper even talked about a past encounter he had with Knight once upon a time ago when he first moved to Los Angeles He describes receiving a phone call from the boss of Death Row where he sent a not-so-veiled threat to him mentioning that the city was not big enough to accommodate all the music players at the time and inferring that someone needed to go. Unfortunately for him, P didn't respond to well to threats and informed the CEO that he just bought a home there and intended on going nowhere.

P also touches on what it was like to sign Snoop to his label after buying him out his contract with Death Row. According to P, he saved Snoop's life being that he was in a real bad place with Death Row as Knight was preparing to sell off his contract to another label before P stepped in and intervened.
