The latest budding best friend duo of Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence stopped by Wrigley Field in Chicago last night for a surprise appearance in the midst of a Billy Joel performance. A dance party ensued onstage once the piano man began playing "Uptown Girl." Schumer was the first to bust a move, followed by a group of friends including The Hunger Games star. The two actresses, barefoot, jumped on top of Joel's piano for a jig while the singer serenaded them.

Schumer's co-star, Kyle Dunnigan, posted a video to Instagram of the actresses and Joel rehearsing earlier in the day, only to delete it later in the day without an explanation. "Rehearsals a little rough," he wrote, also posting a picture of the group sans Lawrence and Schumer, writing "Get ready for a bunch of billy joel photos. Me amy schumer and jennifer lawrence are going on stage tonight."

For those who have yet to see the Trailblazer Award winner's comedy, Trainwreck, mild spoilers lie ahead. The last-minute appearance references the end of the comedian's latest film, where Schumer dances to "Uptown Girl" at Madison Square Garden with the New York Knicks cheerleaders. The Inside Amy Schumer star happened to be in the Windy City during Joel's stop of the Oddball Festival, creating a perfect moment in time for Lawrence to join her to recreate the film's scene.

The two actresses quickly became friends in July and have already jumped into co-writing a screenplay in which they'll tackle portraying sisters. "We're almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now," Lawrence said of the comedy, Rolling Stone reports. "Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I'm flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago," which resulted in the barefoot piano jig.
