Nene Leakes has become quite the reality legend from her seven year stint as one of the original cast members of the Bravo hit show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But all good things must come to an end, as is the case with Leakes who is set to leave RHOA and start a new gig with E!'s Fashion Police.

The Electronic Urban Report confirmed on Sunday (Aug. 31) how the reality break out star made the announcement via her blog.

Back in June during an interview with People, Leakes revealed that her contract was up with the highly rated reality show and she and her husband, Greg Leakes "went back and forth" on whether or not she should remain with the show or explore other opportunities. Ultimately the decision was made to exit the show or in Leakes words, "spread my wings and do different things."

Those "different things" have lead her straight through the doors of E!s Fashion Police alongside Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski and Melissa Rivers, daughter of the show's creator the late Joan Rivers, as a co-host for the new season.

As of now the co-hosting gig is a permanent position for Leakes but not her first time being a part of the show. She's served as a guest host several times during past seasons which is more than likely why she was so well versed in the new gig and viewers enjoyed what her larger than life personality added to the show.
