After his somewhat confusing, yet thought provoking speech at this year's VMAs, Kanye West has rallied up a few supporters. Frequent collaborator, Rihanna, endorsed West's run for president during her perfume launch and Leona Lewis sang a cover of his song, "Only One."

Although the “B*tch Better Have My Money” singer wasn't in attendance for Sunday (Aug. 30) night's festivities, she shared her support for West while promoting her new fragrance, RiRi.

“I mean people are voting for [Donald] Trump, who wouldn’t vote for Kanye?,” Rihanna asserted during an interview with E.T.

She also reacted to West's captivating VMA acceptance speech. “I got to see it,” she added, “and I’m really, really elated with his speech. His speech was incredible.”

During his 12-minute acceptance speech for the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the "All Day" rapper spoke on a number of things including his dismay with awards shows and his fight for the rights of artists. He even revisited his infamous encounter with Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs, but nothing was more shocking than his announcement to run in the 2020 presidential election.

Apparently, Rihanna isn’t the only famous singer supporting West. Leona Lewis took to social media and revealed that she too is in Yeezy's corner.

“I was quite moved by @kanyewest speech at the VMA’s. In light of this, I would like to share this with you,” the “Bleeding Love” singer tweeted along with a link to her cover of West's "Only One," an ode to his 2-year-old daughter with wife, Kim Kardashian. He delivered a touching performance of the ballad, which originally features Paul McCartney, earlier this year at the Grammys.

Although it is uncertain whether or not West really intends to run, he's definitely grabbed the attention of fans and politicians alike. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest even offered up his two cents on the matter.
