The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards air tonight at 9 p.m. hosted by Miley Cyrus with the preshow and red carpet kicking things off at 8 p.m. with host Kelly OsbourneThis year there's a lot to look forward to, and not just because the ever-eventful Miley Cyrus is our host throughout the night. Expect performances from the host herself, The Weeknd, Tori Kelly, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Twenty One Pilots with A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, the return of Justin Bieber and what can only be a bonkers performance from Kanye West as he receives this year's Video Vanguard Award.

That's all during the actual event though, we can't forget about preshow and post show events as well.

Starting at 8 p.m., look for performances from Nick Jonas for his live debut of new single "Levels" and from Walk The Moon as well as the music video debut for Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams."

When Kanye closes things out you'll want to stick around for yet another video debut, this one from Justin Bieber and his new single "What Do You Mean?"

You can still cast your vote for the categories of Song of the Summer and Artist to Watch on MTV.com. The nominees for Artist to Watch at pretty solid this year and you probably couldn't go wrong with any of the musicians including Fetty Wap, FKA Twigs, George Ezra, James Bay and Vance Joy.

The same can't be said of the highly contentious Song of the Summer category. This song has to have near-unanimous popularity, catchy hooks and most importantly, the ability to blast it from your car with the windows rolled down. The front-runner as of Friday is currently "She's Kinda Hot" by the teen anthem group 5 Seconds of Summer a cool 300,000 votes ahead of the runner ups Fifth Harmony's "Worth It." Other candidates include "Where Are U Now" by Skrillex and Diplo featuring Bieber, "Cool For The Summer" by Lovato and "Good For You" by Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky, but all of those artists are at least 4 million votes behind the front-runners. Voting is set to end at a time "TBD" on Sunday so get your votes in while you can.
