Johnny Depp and Willie Nelson [VIDEO]

Though SXSW is the big news in Austin this week, Rodeo Austin, which has been going on since the 1st, is getting plenty of big named musical talent too. In fact, when Willie Nelson played on Sunday, he was joined by his friend John - who turned out to be none other than Johnny Depp.

The actor joined the band, trading licks with Willie Nelson’s son Lukas, who was also sitting in with the band as a guest. Johnny, who has played with The Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan and Oasis, was once a member of the band 'P' that featured members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Butthole Surfers, and The Sex Pistols.

With Willie, Depp played fan favorites like "Good Hearted Woman," "On The Road Again" and "Shoeshine Man."
