We've all heard the phrase "strong genes" but from the looks of it, actress Reese Witherspoon's genes have Incredible Hulk strength when it comes to her daughter Ava, who is her spitting image.
In a recent Twitter post Witherspoon wished her daughter a happy 16th birthday with a side by side image of a young Ava next to a more recent photo of the 16 year old, looking exactly like her mom in some of her earlier films like the1996 film Fear. The post, which endearingly expressed her love for her daughter with a caption that read, "My sweet girl turns 16 today. I am so happy to have you as a daughter."

US Magazine reports that Ava is the daughter of the Ryan Phillippe, the Cruel Intentions star's ex-husband and as the magazine states, Ava has "an uncanny resemblance" to her mom. Both share the long blonde locks, high cheekbones and the look of America's sweetheart and girl next door. They even have the same color eyes.
It seems as if Ava is just as loved by fans as her dear mother and has been receiving birthday wishes from many. People gave the sweet 16-year-old birthday wishes and says that the Witherspoon women all look just alike as Reese looks just like her mom Betty. It's pretty evident from the Twitter and Instagram post that Witherspoon and her daughter have a great and close relationship. Witherspoon, although a busy working woman, says that her relationship with her daughter is the most important relationship in her life and takes priority over everything else.
"There are some sacrifices you make, and it hurts your heart sometimes, but my kids tell me they're proud of what I've accomplished, and that just means everything," she spoke in an article with Southern Living. The Oscar winner says she grew up with a mother who worked as a nurse and she would never "begrudge" her mother for that. In fact she respects her mother for working as hard as she did but, for Reese - it's family first.
