Last night (March 12), Beck took his "Waking Light" to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Fresh off the release of his first album in six years Morning Phase, alt-rock's favorite "Loser" dazzled with a straightforward, simply pretty performance.
Looking like the world's hippest history teacher in a simple brown tweed jacket and patterned black shirt with dark clouds floating behind him, Beck appeared to be contemplative and fittingly melancholy for the reflective, heartbreaking single.
