On Friday (Sept. 11), Future surprised fans during a performance at Toronto's Ryerson University. The DS2 rapper brought Drake out and they rocked the crowd together with a live rendition of "Where Ya At."

As noted by Rap-Up, Drizzy also took the stage to perform “Energy,” “Know Yourself” and “Back to Back.” Toronto Councillor Norm Kelly, who backed Drake on social media during his feud with Meek Mill, made an appearance during the show as well.

In recent days, there have been talks that Future and Drake may be preparing to release a joint mixtape. DJ Skee got the Internet buzzing when he sent out a tweet hinting that two of the hottest artists in the hip-hop game were coming together to drop a collaborative project out of nowhere. A possible mixtape cover combining Drake’s signature OVO owl and a variation of Future's favorite purple drink made its way to the Web soon thereafter.

In the past, Future and Drake have collaborated on tracks including "Tony Montana," "Sh*t (Remix)" and P. Reign's "DnF." They also embarked on a mini tour together earlier this summer.

"Where Ya At" was the sixth track off Future's latest album, DS2, to get a video and the track currently sits at No. 52 on Billboard's Hot 100.

In it's opening week, DS2 snagged the number one spot on the charts making this third album Future's most successful project to date. Drake is also DS2's lone feature. As previously reported, he apparently hit up Future on the night before the album was due and insisted he contribute a verse, which he sent back that same night.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Drake's latest album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, has become the first million-selling album of 2015.

Neither of the rappers have confirmed the release of a joint project.
