Kris Jenner Didn't Give Kylie Jenner Permission to Get Lip Injections Before Turning 18

Nothing says controversy like the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty! Many people were concerned and somewhat appalled at the idea of Kylie Jenner going under the knife at such a young age, especially before she turned 18. The mix of anger and confusion wasn't only pointed in the social media connoisseur's direction; the blame was also directed at her mother, Kris Jenner. Kris opened up to Access Hollywood on Wednesday Sept. 16, to set the record straight about her involvement, revealing she didn't give her daughter permission to get lip injections.

When the younger Jenner began showing off her new assets, the media went crazy. She received backlash from every corner, but the majority of the negative comments weren't about the enhancements themselves, instead her age proved to be a bigger issue. She debuted a larger butt, wider hips, fuller breasts and plumper lips on her Instagram and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. While some fans raved about her new look, no one believed these changes were a result of puberty.

Her mother said she knew nothing about her daughter's decision to get cosmetic surgery. When she found out about it, she was extremely angry but ultimately decided to accept it. She remained supportive, because although she may not agree with all of her children's decisions, they're still her flesh and blood.

"I got really upset, and then it was done, and I had to let it go," Jenner said in an interview with Access Hollywood. "Once that was done, it's just my kid. I love my kid. We make mistakes."

The mother of six is mindful of the things her youngest daughter should or should not be doing and still uses her authority to make sure she understands what's right and what's wrong. Kris Jenner is still surprised about all the new inventions, applications and surgeries that have developed in this new day and age. Adolescents and young adults have access to so many things they might not be mentally ready to subject themselves to, but living in Hollywood can increase the pressure to experiment.

The 59-year-old, who was once accused of getting butt implants herself, admitted the first time she made any physical changes to her body was in her 50s. In her mind, Kylie is still young and has so much growing up to do that it confuses her as to why she would want to make these decisions at such a young age.

"I get a little crazy - and I think that is what no one sees - and I do have definite thoughts and ideas or [ideas on] what she should do, you know, at a really young age. I am from a generation that in my day, I mean, some of this stuff did not exist for sure, but I don't think I did one thing physically to myself until I was in my 50s. So I am thinking...why, why? Why do you need to do that?"

After much speculation, Kylie revealed she's received lip filler injections on a May episode of KUWTK. Recently, Kylie has been holding nothing back about her beauty secrets. In an interview with the New York Times, she gushed about her cosmetic surgeon and the work he's done on her lips. With the launch of her new website and best-selling app, Kylie also admitted the secret to her voluptuous chest was all thanks to a Victoria's Secret "Bombshell" bra.

Critics are still skeptical about the origins of her boobs and butt, but the truth usually reveals itself on its own, right?
