The hit STARZ series Power wrapped up season 2 with an explosive season finale that left fans wanting more and anticipating the return of season 3. Although the wait will be longer than some fans want, you will be happy to know that Tommy (Joseph Sikora), the show's "anything goes" favorite character, confirmed a fan tweet that Season 3 of the STARZ favorite has begun filming as of yesterday.

Sikora, who plays the childhood friend and business partner in the illegal trafficking of drug narcotics to lead character James "Ghost" St. Patrick, retweeted a picture from 50centnewsfeed, he and co-star Naturi Haughton (Tasha) with the caption "POWER season 3 is in affect" on Sept. 16.

He and fellow cast mate and creator of the show, Courtney Kemp Agboh, have been keeping fans in the loop of how filming is coming along for the next season with several smiling photos and a photo of Tommy's infamous blue vehicle. In a Agboh retweet, he shared:

Although there is no set airdate for the return of the series, actor Omari Hardwick (Ghost) tweeted, "Day 1 down. Bout 160 to go.." so viewers can anticipate a return by late Spring, early Summer of 2016.

Variety reports that it was the record-breaking season two premiere that aired on June 6 that set things in motion for a ten-episode season 3 return. According to the site, "the June 6 premiere set a new Starz benchmark as the most-watched episode of an original series in the pay cable's history." An outstanding 1.43 million viewers tuned in that night to watch the return of Ghost, Tommy, Tasha and Kanan, played by rapper and executive producer of the show Curtis Jackson.
