Have you seen those ads for the new FOX series Empire yet? 50 Cent has and he's pissed. The Get Rich or Die Tryin' rapper and actor has a financial stake and role in the show POWER, and he thinks the marketing campaign for Empire -- which features Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson -- is a little too similar to what POWER has used.

Fiddy let the world know of this travesty via Instagram Saturday (via HipHopDX)

POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me. I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence howard and Taraji Henson. I don't like that They would copy the Marketing.#SMSAUDIO #FRIGO #POWERTV

The Queens rapper has plenty of experience in the film industry, with acting credits in 25 different films and television shows since 2005. Besides playing a character on POWER, he also helped with several of the casting decisions, which included Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton.

"Omari came to mind early," 50 told VIBE. "I got the chance to see some of his work in different projects that he did and I was like, 'He's next.' He's going to be one of those guys that takes off and be a leading man and this project will be that thing that catapults him to that actual point.

"And Naturi, obviously I got the chance to see the Notorious film [laughs] and her work as Lil Kim. And when I saw her and she came in and read for the character I was like, 'Wow.'"

Fifty is upset about the similarities in marketing for POWER and Empire, but we say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
