Selena Gomez's new album Revival is due for release on Oct. 9, but it three weeks is too long for you to wait, don't worry - the "Good for You" singer has you covered. On Wednesday night (Sept. 16), Gomez held an album event in Los Angeles, where she debuted her new track "Same Old Love" live, and she also revealed a snippet of her album's title track.

For fans who couldn't make it to the Revival event, one generous Selenator recorded the show, which opened up with Selena sitting on a chair, listening to "Revival."

The album seems to open with an ominous round of percussion as Gomez sings about finally breaking free and being her true self.

"I'm reborn in every moment - so who knows who I'll become," Gomez speaks. The song's lyrics follow a similar theme, including lines such as "I feel like I'm awaking / The chains surround me are finally breaking" and "Show them all, no more hiding, hiding / The light inside me is bursting, shining / It's my time to butterfly," Gomez sets the theme for the album.

However, fans didn't get to hear "Revival" in full; the song cut out and Gomez lamented that she couldn't play her whole album now.

Gomez also offered up live versions of her already released Revival cuts, including the top 10 single "Good for You" and the Charli XCX penned track "Same Old Love."

Gomez's new album Revival will be released on Oct. 9. It's her second solo album and first release since 2013's Stars Dance.
