After a long time of relative inactivity, it's a bustling week in the world of Arcade Fire. Ahead of the release of the Reflektor Tapes documentary and in the wake of the TIDAL stream of two previously unreleased songs, today (Sept. 21), the Canadian stadium rockers announced that they will be re-releasing the 2013 album Reflektor alongside six new songs this week, to be available both as a double LP and a standalone cassette tape.

According to Spin, a re-release of Reflektor is due for release on Friday, Sept. 25. On the end of the 13-track album, six new songs will now be included.

Well, really it's only three new songs "Get Right" and "Crucified Again" are out now via TIDAL and will drop along with The Reflektor Tapes documentary on Wednesday (Sept. 23) as a 7" record. The other not-quite-so-new song is a Dennis Bovell remix of "Flashbulb Eyes."

The other new songs include "Apocrypha," "Women of a Certain Age" and "Soft Power."

The double LP version of Reflektor will be released on Friday, Sept. 25. However, for fans who do not want to re-purchase 13 songs they already own and for those who love old school technology, there will also be a limited edition cassette tape (fittingly entitled The Reflektor Tapes) with just the six songs available beginning Oct. 16.
