This September, Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Régine Chassagne are slated to release a feature-length film called The Reflektor Tapes. Following the recent announcement, a teaser trailer has been released for the Kahlil Joseph-directed film.

The project will boast creative direction from Jospeh, who previously worked with Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus, as the band writes, records and tours in support of their 2013 album, Reflektor. In the official trailer, Butler compares his band's music to "being led by a spirit" while his wife and bandmate Chassagne claims that their "inclination is to tell stories." Live clips from the Reflektor World Tour flood the trailer spanning gigs from smaller dates in the U.S. and Haiti to larger arena shows.

In a press release, the film was described as "a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history". Behind the scenes clips follow the band throughout their tour and visit to Haiti where some of Chassagne's family resides. In July, a teaser and music video for Reflektor track "Porno" were unveiled.

Butler and Chassagne have decided to extend their Haitian roots and interests to both business and pleasure with plans to open a Haitian restaurant in Montreal called Agrikol. Speaking with The Globe and Mail recently, Butler explained, "[The restaurant is] more of an art project. The idea is that it's a cultural space." Butler also offered that Agrikol will imitate the "cultural warmth" of Haiti.

"You can't explain how beautiful it is! So now I think we have an opportunity to try to make a place for it in Montreal," Chassagne added.
