Ellie Goulding has just released her new video for "On My Mind," and it is a high-roller, Vegas affair directed by Emil Nava and complete with desert scenes and casino strips. The music video begins with varied snapshots of the infamous sin city as it pans over the entire span of Vegas in the opening. Move to a shot of a retro-glamorous Goulding gazing at herself in a large mirror as the male protagonist creeps up behind her and puts his hands on her hips.

He's definitely sinister looking and ends up being verbally abusive in later portions of the video, with some drinks involved. You can hear the hotel theme in the lyric ("Next thing I know / I'm in a hotel with you") as the scene cuts to the master bedroom, where the singer poses seductively in a collared white shirt unbuttoned all the way down and stiletto heels.

"On My Mind" flashes through several more scenes of Goulding gazing at herself and her love interest, in turn, gazing at her possessively. But the director has more surprises in store as he gears up to take us deep into the desert, but not before the male protagonist enacts some good old fashioned emotional abuse on the British singer in sped-up hotel scenes.

To escape, Goulding takes to the desert, riding a brown n' white horse in a studded leather jacket from the dust all the way down the casino strip. She even has time to get her hair done in a red feather boa as it moves between scenes of her shady love interest counting cash. In order to enact her revenge fantasy the singer and a friend ride into the casino on horses and complete a pretty brutal tape up -not shown- of her love interest in a creepy twist.

The video comes on the helm of her new album Delirium set to be released about two months from now (Nov. 6).
