Eric Prydz and Major Lazer are both getting their own Apple Music Beats 1 radio shows. The global online radio station has tabbed a mix of celebrity and major artists like Pharrell, Drake, A-Tak, Elton John, St. Vincent, Dr. Dre and others to host their own shows.

Diplo joined Zane Lowe live on air to reveal the news that Major Lazer would be taking over for Rebel Sound on Beats 1, starting Oct. 2 for their own show, titled Lazer Sound.

Speaking to Lowe, Diplo revealed a few details about what Major Lazer has planned for the show. "We want to do a lot of interviews, we want to keep it fresh," he said. "It's going to be me, Walshy Fire, Jillionaire, Eric Hamilton, all of us. Walsh is so good on the mic, he's been hosting pirate radio shows in Miami for about twenty five years." He also shared that there will be "a lot of moments from us on tour" and they will try and get anybody who has been a part of the Major Lazer albums to contribute.

Diplo already has his own BBC Radio One guest spot, Diplo & Friends, so it will be another project for Diplo to help manage with his rollercoaster 24/7 life.

Eric Prydz did the first ever Beats 1 One Mix on July 4, so he is an unsurprising inclusion into their DJ roster fold. His show will start on Oct. 9. Speaking to Lowe, he revealed his plans for the show. There will be "A lot of exclusive material, exclusive music from myself and also from my peers, " he told Lowe. "It's going to be all about the music, it's going to be be about new talent, I'm just going to have fun with it."

Also there will be plenty of guest mixes from some of his friends.
