Another week, another Ed Sheeran cover. More specifically another Ed Sheeran hip-hop cover. The golden voiced crooner took a stab at rising Toronto MC Tory Lanez new single "Say It," re-establishing his reign as the king of covers .

Unlike past covers which usually just feature him and his guitar, Sheeran records a full studio version of the swaggy ode to foreign cars. Featuring his signature falsetto, layered vocals and light guitar riffs the record quickly starts to feel like it could have fallen off last year's X by the time it ends.

The song, which features a sample of Brownstones "If You love Me", is Tory Lanez first single off his upcoming 2016 Interscope debut. Lanez has been making a name for himself over the last few years. He featured on YG's debut album My Krazy Life and has released three albums since 2014, the latest being April's Cruel Intentions released via Wedidit.com. Clearly very appreciate of the plug, Lanez (who is currently on tour) has been retweeting the song all weekend, thanking Ed in a really excited tweet.

Sheeran is gearing up for the release of his concert film Jumpers for Goalpost, which hits theaters on Oct. 23. The film follows three nights of sold-out shows in support of X at the famed Wembley Arena back in July.
