On June 24, BBC Worldwide Unlimited and Canal Plus aired their groundbreaking documentary on Daft Punk live on TV. For a brief amount of time it was leaked onto the web and some lucky individuals were able to watch the film outside of France in its entirely. Gearing up for its worldwide release, BBC and Canal Plus have unveiled the trailer for Daft Punk Unchained featuring Kanye West, Pharrell, Nile Rodgers and others all sing praise for the "Get Lucky" pair.

The trailer takes short snippets from the film including interviews with aforementioned artists and weaves them together. Sitting down with Kanye, the rapper does not mince words when talking about the robots. "Who revolutionized dance music the most?" West proposes. "I think you'd say Daft Punk."

The trailer follows the career arch of the duo from their beginnings in Paris to the global superstars today, winning six awards at the 2014 Grammys Awards, capping it off with a rare live performance.

The trailer also includes interviews with other collaborators and luminaries such as Pete Tong, Giorgio Moroder, Peter Lindbergh, Todd Edwards, Michel Gondry and Paul Williams.

Hervé Martin Delpierre directed the feature and co-wrote it with Marina Rozenman.

The new trailer marks the first news that has emerged about the documentary since it was released on French TV in June.

Daft Punk Unchained is slated for a worldwide release at some point in 2015. It isn't clear when that will be, but with only three months to go in the calendar year, the wait won't be too long.
