No matter how much of a reinvention he has had in the media lately, Justin Bieber can't seem to get away from questions on his ex Selena Gomez, Jesus, church and the inappropriate behavior in his past. However, out of all the topics, his romances are always first in fans minds.  While it hasn't gone unnoticed that he has returned at the top of the singles chart with "What Do You Mean" and set a record for the most number of streams in one week with the same track, he is still consistently asked about Gomez and their current relationship status, but he's now dropped hints about a new relationship in the interview for his Complex cover story.

On his relationship with Gomez, always the question on the public's mind, Bieber said to Complex, "I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered. We were all about each other. But when it's like that and you get your value from that, people will always disappoint you. Your girl on your dude, they're always going to disappoint you. Your full identity can't be in that person. My identity was in her. Her identity was in me. When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin' mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other."

Another highlight from the interview was when the 21-year old singer opened up to Complex about dating someone new saying, "Even like - I'm kind of seeing this girl, right? I'm shy about doing or saying certain things, and then I say it and it's not even a problem. And I'll remember when I couldn't."

While it's clear that he and Gomez had an unhealthy relationship, his ex also has had many thoughts on their relationship and does not seem to hold a grudge, based on comments in recent interviews. In the cover story for the October issue of ELLE, she said to the magazine that she will "forever support and love him" and also showed enthusiasm for his comeback saying, "While people were writing that I was stupid for being in it, this is what I always saw in him," in a recent New York Times interview.
