Insomniac Events new trance festival Dreamstate has announced the venue, dates and ticket information for its brand new San Francisco outpost. Back in August, Insomniac announced that after such high demand for the first edition in Southern California, they would expand to a second location up north in the Bay Area. Now fans have most of the details.

Dreamstate will take place at the iconic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco over two days from Jan 16-17. Early access tickets go on sale Oct. 13 at noon PST. You can sign up for early access passes at the event's website here.

If tickets sell as quickly as they did for Dreamstate in Southern California, it would be wise to try and get them as quickly as possible. They sold out for the inaugural one this November 27-28 at NOS Events Center in just four hours.

A lineup has not been announced, but it will probably include some of the same type of names that will be found in Southern California in November. Among those slated to perform at the NOS Events Center in nearly two months include Orjan Nilsen, Aly & Fila, Allen & Envy, Paul van Dyk, Rank 1, Sunny Lax, John O'Callaghan, Giuseppe Ottaviani, a full on Fluoro set from Paul Oakenfold and others.

When the LA edition was announced, Insomniac Events CEO Pasquale Rotella spoke about the inspiration for the trance-themed festival, saying, "Dreamstate will be completely dedicated to celebrating trance in all of its forms. Trance fans are some of the most passionate in electronic music, and I hope that Dreamstate will provide them with a promising new destination."
