UK electronic group Rudimental has released their sophomore album We The Generation. The follow-up to their very successful 2012 debut Home features a cast of friends on the "Not Giving In" group's label Major Toms like Will Heard and Anne-Marie, as well as stars and legends like Ed Sheeran and Bobby Womack.

The album was originally slated for release on Sept. 18, but due to issues with the label and promotion, they pushed it back two weeks to try and build more hype around the LP.

With We The Generation, Rudimental stick to their tried and tested formula of soulful drum n' bass tracks. Recording the album down in Jamaica, there are clear reggae and Caribbean influences heard on the album, notably on the title track, but they do sound at home with the sound developed on Home. They seem more at ease working with big names like Ed Sheeran and Bobby Womack, a result of their increased stature as a band and confidence as artists.

Rudimental have kicked off an extensive world tour in support of the album, having already done two dates in New York City, where Ed Sheeran came out as a special guest. They have a few more dates in the United States in Los Angeles and San Francisco before heading back home to the UK and Europe. They wil finish out the year on a warmer note in Asia and Australia.
