It doesn't seem as though there will be much of Auto-tune on Demi Lovato's new album Confident. On Thursday (Oct. 8), just eight days ahead of the record's release date, the "Cool for the Summer" singer released live in-studio footage of herself singing her big ballad "Stone Cold," and it's a pure stunner.

The black and white shot video is simple, featuring Lovato performing "Stone Cold" in a recording studio, presumably during the Confident sessions. Against the simple, piano melody, Lovato's voice soars above the current as she once again proves that she is one of pop's biggest voices.

Of course, this is not the first time that devoted Lovato fans have heard "Stone Cold." During an ad week event in New York City, Lovato performed the song live for the first time.

Lovato is hopeful about the prospects of "Stone Cold." In her recent, lengthy Complex feature, she opened up about how she feels like the song is worthy of a Grammy. "I want the Grammy committee to hear ["Stone Cold"] so that one day they can see that-I know that I'm capable of getting there. I just want people to see it finally. When I say getting there, I don't mean winning one. I just want to be nominated for one. You can't go higher than the Grammys in the music industry," she said.

"Stone Cold" appears on Confident, which is due to hit stores on Oct. 16. It's the latest song to be rolled out from the album, following the release of "Cool for the Summer" and the title track.
