There are a lot of conspiracies out there in the world. The Americans never landed on the moon, Nessie is out there floating in Loch Ness, Elvis/Tupac Shakur/Marilyn Monroe and more never really died and are drinking crappy Dutch beer on a deserted island...
Wait, that last one isn't really a thing. However, a new beer commercial for the Dutch brewery Bavaria Radler explores the idea that musical icons such as Kurt Cobain, Tupac, John Lennon and Elvis are all drinking their days away in an undisclosed location.
The truly bizarre commercial uses vague lookalikes to mimic the aging bodies of the previously mentioned singers as well as Bruce Lee and Monroe. They're lounging on beach furniture and sipping a golden ale all while presumably hooking up with an 87-year-old Monroe (or at the very least, Tupac is definitely getting some).
It's not only odd and slightly insensitive in content but cheaply produced and, well, not that funny. These people all died tragic deaths, they're not just hiding away from the modern world, as this clip likes to imagine.
Sigh...
