Netflix is allowing users get "snowed in" with Bill Murray this holiday season by debuting a star-studded A Very Murray Christmas special on Friday, December 4. Teaming up with Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola for the Christmas extravaganza, the two enlisted help from Hollywood's biggest names, including Miley Cyrus and George Clooney.  As December approaches, they've released a new trailer for the special.

The latest teaser for the holiday venture showcases mischief at New York City's own Carlyle hotel where a blizzard soils the actor's plans of an international holiday broadcast. Knowing that the show must go on, Murray is joined by friends and colleagues like Cyrus, Clooney and Chris Rock for a slew of songs and dances.

"Tonight will go down as the greatest night in history," Murray explains as the clip opens and reveals a montage of star power. One shot previews Clooney holding a martini while another shows Cyrus and Murray joining forces for a performance with Maya Rudolph commanding the microphone. The clip is set to a soundtrack of a Bill Murray version of "Let It Snow."   It comes to a close as the actor shouts, "Look out, ol' Santa is back!"

"Bill is friends with George, so that's how he came on. Then, we wanted a pop starlet. I had met Miley through Marc Jacobs and she seemed really game and nice, so I asked through a friend," Coppola explained to People of getting the cast together. A Very Murray Christmas was co-written by Murray, Coppola and Mitch Glazer.  It was produced by Coppola, Roman Coppola, Glazer and Tony Hernandez, Rolling Stone notes. The cast also boasts Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Jenny Lewis, Phoenix, Michael Cera, Paul Shaffer, Jason Schwartzmann, Dimitri Dimitrov, Julie White, David Johansen and Frederic Moulin.

Netflix unveiled news of the holiday special back in May, referring to it as a "homage to the classic variety show." The first teaser offered a jazz piano soundtrack while a melancholy Murray stares out at the New York City skyline from his Carlyle Hotel window.

Murray is also slated to appear in the latest (female-led) Ghostbusters reboot, boasting a cast of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
