Halle Berry's husband, Olivier Martinez, has a reputation in Hollywood for not being able to control his temper, especially when it comes to paparazzi. During a January 2015 scuffle at Los Angeles Airport (LAX), Martinez attacked an airline employee with a car seat belonging to one of Berry's children. According to a recent TMZ report, the man is now suing the couple for the "unprovoked attack" in hopes of receiving nearly $5 million worth in damages.

On Sunday, Jan. 4, Martinez became a suspect of a battery investigation after things turned physical between him and a mystery man at LAX around 1:45 in the afternoon. Few details surrounding the incident were available at the time, but TMZ said the LAPD believe the man was too close for comfort in the family's opinion. After complaining of abdominal pain, the man filed a battery report.

The entertainment news company recently released a clear video of the French film actor using a car seat to physically shove the LAX employee, revealed to be Ronaldo Owens, out of the way and on to the ground. Owens was standing to the side, out of celebrity family's way, along with paparazzi when the incident took place.

The 49-year-old Academy Award-winning actress was being escorted by security through the airport with Martinez, their son Maceo Robert, and Berry's daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, from her previous relationship with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. Paparazzi managed to follow security's order to stand out of their way as they snapped several pictures of their arrival.

Whether Owens was actually snapping photos of the couple with his phone has yet to be determined. On Monday (Oct. 19), Owens filed a lawsuit explaining why he had every right to stand in that spot as an employee of the airline and accuses Berry of concocting the whole plan of attack.

He's suing them for at least $5 million. Owens also filed a police report, but the LA city attorney declined to prosecute.

This isn't the first time Martinez got in trouble with the law. In 2012, he got into a fight with the father of Berry's first child due to a disagreement about living arrangements.
