Cover art is integral in the release of a song. In most cases, it gives people a visual preview of what to expect on the said track.

On Drake and SZA's latest song, "Slime You Out," they used a photo of Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry getting slimed at an awards show, befitting of the song's title.

Halle Berry Disappointed With Drake On Not Asking Photo Permission

Taking to an Instagram, Berry shared a not-so-cryptic photo of a quote saying: "Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy ... even if you're a woman!"

People on Instagram knew immediately what that meant. A fan asked her thoughts on Drake using her photo on the cover art of his new single.

Berry was rather blunt about her thoughts about it. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

"Didn't get my permission," she revealed. "That's not cool I thought better of him !" Immediately after, she posted a follow-up comment that contextualized her post: "hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on !"

However, some fans defended Drake's honor in the comments section.

"girl, bffr.. i can see if it was a personal picture... this from a kids awards show... 2012.. i get the permission stuff but anyone has access to this.... anyone could've did this. would it still be the same response?" someone posted.

"you're weird asf. It's just a picture. It's not that serious at all," another commented.

"Man no way you really mad with dude for using that old ass photo ? He didn't get your permission to wear you on his jacket that time and you weren't upset," someone wrote.

"C'mon HALLE u and DRAKE had a thing IN THE PAST so for you to GET UP HERE SAY this IS RIDICULOUS," a fan said.
