The Muppet known as the Swedish Chef has paused from making popcorn for just long enough to record and release a video of him Bork Bork Bork-ing his way through Sia's "Chandelier." Aptly renamed "Cherndelifer," the cover is the product of Brock Baker, the comedian also known as the McGoiter of YouTube fame. Watch the video below.

In "Cherndelifer," the Swedish Chef, played by Baker, stumbles gracelessly through the choreography of the original video. As he runs, slides, and twirls between the various rooms of his home he even attempts (and arguably nails) some of the interpretive dance moves made famous by the 11-year old star of Sia's video. At one point he gets tangled in his blinds. The Chef even swings from an actual chandelier for a moment before the end. As Billboard reports, "As is often the case with the Swedish Chef, there is no apparent reason behind any of this -- it's just nonsense as he sings gibberish over the pop hit, dancing and baking around his house"

As AVClub points out, "Sia and and the Swedish Chef's paths were bound to cross eventually. Both are, at their core, unknowable enigmas." Both the Australian singer and the Muppet are known for obscuring their faces--the former almost always dons huge wigs and oversized bows whereas the latter's entire face is covered by his shaggy eyebrows. Both also are known in pop-culture for their thick accents. With at least these two similarities it makes sense why the Swedish Chef chose to cover "Chandelier," even if it was as Baker points out on his YouTube, "only a year late."

As McGoiter, Baker became a household staple of sorts back around 2006 with the classic viral Vine video "The Man of 101 Voices." With musical support from fellow YouTuber Todd Bryanton (aka "LilDeuceDeuce") and featuring Ken Sarafin's artistic rendition of the Swedish Chef dressed as Sia, "Cherndelifer" manages to be a worthy abbreviated cover.

With the recent ABC "Muppets" reboot, the viral video couldn't be better timed, but "Cherndelifer" isn't the Chef's first foray into pop music--and probably not his last. As Entertainment Weekly reports, in an episode of the new show that aired last week in which the whole crew goes out for karaoke, the Chef yet again wows audiences with his own rendition of "Rapper's Delight."
