Skrillex, Diplo and AlunaGeorge have unveiled the music video for their collaboration "To Ü." Taken from Jack Ü's album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, the video is a literal take on love, flipping back and forth between various couple living in run down neighborhoods of Detroit.
Taking place in September in Detroit, the video focuses on AlunaGeorge and her relationship with one man, just like the song as she croons in the chorus, "Cause leaving is the hardest thing to do / But being left is harder, yes it's true / But try coming back / How do I get back to you, to you, to you?" They celebrate youthful, puppy love in this video.
Directed by AG Rojas, the video is shot with an old school look and feel as it jerks around for a more home video feel that remains professional all the same.
The visuals is the second part of a package surrounding "To Ü." On Friday the track's remix package was released with reworks coming from Oliver, George, the producer arm of AlunaGeorge, Clean Bandit and two by Armand Van Helden.
This is the second music video to come from Skrillex and Diplo's album, released back in February. The pair released the fan-assisted visuals for their smash-single "Where Are Ü Now" with Justin Bieber in June.
Jack Ü have increased their tour dates in 2015 to tour their album and have several more to cap off the year. They will perform at Voodoo Festival this weekend on Oct. 30 and then take over the Mad Decent Boat Party for five days in November. On Dec. 30 they will join forces one last time in 2015 at Decadence NYE in Denver, before going off to their respective parties the following night.
