It should have been assumed that when Adele came back with new music, she would debut huge. But, it seems like the world was still not quite ready for the impact of "Hello." Following the song's big rollout last week, the lead single from 25 is shattering all sorts of music records, including VEVO streams and digital sales.

Just 24 hours after "Hello" debuted online, the music video smashed the VEVO records for the most views in one day, dethroning Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," which set the pace for high volume views in May with 20.1 million views. But, Adele left Swift in the dust. As Bustle reports, the simple music video for "Hello" racked up a massive 23.2 million views in its first day. Yes, that's almost a million views per hour.

People didn't just live in the sepia-tinted world with "Hello," the single has also been purchased en masse. The track has been a hot-seller, launching at No. 1 on iTunes. Billboard reports that in its first two days on sale, "Hello" moved roughly 450,000 copies. The track is on pace to become the record holder for most digital copies downloaded in one week. Flo Rida's "Right Round" currently holds the record with 636,000 copies sold over a seven day period.

Some project Adele could sell 900,000 copies.

Yeah, it's safe to say she's back and with numbers this big, it'll be shocking if she doesn't debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Hello" is the lead single from Adele's highly anticipated new album 25, which is due to hit stores on Nov. 20.
