Chelsea FC's current position in the 2015/2016 Barclays Premier League season standings certainly don't make them look like defending champions, so does that mean longtime captain John Terry is rethinking sticking around another year? Relegated to the bench for a number of games and then making it back to Jose Mourinho's starting 11, Terry is considered a living legend among Chelsea fans, but will a new opportunity abroad lead to his exit from Stamford Bridge? According to reports, his former teammate and current coach of Al Arabi, Gianfranco Zola is offering the defender a lot of money to come to Qatar. Read more on this news below.

Next summer, Terry will either have his contract renewed at Chelsea, his club for since 1998, or have to decide on a new end-of-career path. One attractive prospect is a move to the Middle East thanks to a reported offer from his former teammate, Zola. Taking over coaching duties at Al Arabi in July of 2015, Zola apparently wants Terry to round out his team (via ESPN FC).

As the Daily Star points out, Terry has singed one-year deals for a while now, but this poor start of the season for Chelsea could threaten the return of the captain. Plus, he'll turn 35 years old in December, so rumors of retirement and transfers are sure to keep popping up.

This isn't the only team or nation looking to score Terry in his twilight years of the sport. According to The Mirror, a number of Chinese teams as well as Turkish club Fenerbahce want to sign Terry. There's always the possibility of a move to the States or Canada for an MLS team, like his former teammates Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, but we're sure to hear more news on Terry's future soon.
