Roger Waters has a lot on his mind these days, both emotionally and politically -- and he's making sure everyone knows it. The former Pink Floyd bassist made his stance on the presidential candidacy known while he praised Bernie Sanders and expressed worries that Hillary Clinton would drop a nuclear bomb.

Although he's lived in the U.S. for nearly 10 years, Waters is still a British citizen and cannot vote in the upcoming election. This doesn't stop him from being vocal when it comes to discussing world issues (like supporting Palestine) and now, the upcoming presidential election.

The 72-year-old bassist describes Democratic candidate Clinton as a much better alternative to any of the Republican candidates but still holds reservations about the possible first female president.

"Hillary worries me,"  he told Rolling Stone. "I have an awful worry that she might become the first woman president to drop a fucking nuclear bomb on somebody. There is something scarily hawkish about her, and she has that politician look down of, 'You are never going to get a word of truth out of me,'"

Waters does in fact support fellow Democratic candidate Sanders, explaining that he seems to be the only candidate with reliability.

"He seems to speak the truth, far as one can tell at this point. He seems prepared to stand up against big money and the banks and stand up for the predicaments of minorities, the middle class and the working class in this country," Waters told Rolling Stone.

The singer-songwriter recently took shots at Jon Bon Jovi for his perceived support of Israel in its ongoing conflict with Palestine. Waters penned an open letter to Bon Jovi condemning the artist for his Oct. 3 gig in Tel Aviv, UltimateClassicRock notes. The letter allowed Waters to tell the rocker he stands besides "the prisoner who fasted for 266 days until freedom."

His latest concert film, Roger Waters: The Wall, will see worldwide release across multiple formats on Nov. 16, giving fans further insight to the artist's personal Wall tour as well as an abundance of exclusives -- from behind the scenes footage to Q&A's with Waters and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
