Manager Roberto Martinez and Everton have reason to celebrate as they move on in the Capital One Cup, while other teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester have been eliminated.

"We're delighted we are where we are. In our history it's only the second time in 28 years so we cannot take this lightly," the coach said, according to The Daily Mail. "We will look forward to the draw and who we will face, but there's still a long, long way to get into a position to think that you can win a trophy."

Meanwhile, Sunderland coach Sam Allardyce shared his thoughts on signing a new striker this week.

"[We're interested in] anywhere across the front three," he said. "Anybody with a bit more pace, or a bit more of an eye for a goal, if you can find one at this stage of the season."

Clearly the coach, who is leading a failing team in the standings, is looking forward to the future, but he needs to get past this weekend.
