Every Belieber's day has just been made as Justin Bieber has gone and remixed Drake's buzzy new single, "Hotline Bling." Not only that, but you have to call "his" cell phone to hear his interpretation of the viral hit.
Early yesterday (Oct. 30), Bieber teased the possibility of a "Hotline Bling" remix via Instagram, captioning "Should I? Love to my bro@champagnepapi. Canadian boys really doing it. #PURPOSE 1-800-HOTLINGBLING1-800-HOTLINGBLING FREE REMIX."
A few hours later, Bieber had posted a video to Instagram telling fans to call his personal hotline, stating "So I have big news. I just put a hotline number on my Twitter so make sure to check it out cause there's something cool there. Check out. Peace and love." He signed off with "Love to my bro@champagnepapi. Call me on my cell phone 231 377 1113231 377 1113 :)" If you haven't heard the remix yet, it's surprisingly good, being that his juvenile voice seems to flow nicely on the track.
In a picture he posted to Twitter, Bieber is seen wielding a tennis racket, just like in one of the memes that surfaced soon after the Toronto-based rapper shared his official music video for the track. The hilarious memes, one of which had Drake throwing Pokémon balls, all poked fun at his quirky dancing skills in the clip, or lack thereof.
According to Gossip Cop, the singer's fans instantly flooded the hotline with calls, so if you didn't realize there was also a SoundCloud link to the mix, you probably didn't get to hear it. The reinterpreted track hits the airwaves just a few days after Bieber walked out of an awkward Spanish radio station interview.
