It has been a long time coming, but Steve Angello has at last announced the official release date for his debut artist album Wild Youth. To go along with that, he has unveiled the complete tracklist with a whole host of collaborations and a brand new single "Remember" with Australian group The Presets.
"Remember" has the same type of indie-electronic cross-over appeal found in "Wasted Love" with good use of live instruments and doesn't come off as too poppy or cheesy.
Steve Angello premiered his new track "Remember" over the weekend with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 and it could be the best track to emerge from his album yet. The ex-Swedish House Mafia member has already unveiled two tracks, "Children Of The Wild" with Mako and "Wasted Love" with Dougy Mandagi from The Temper Trap.
It has been a very long road for Angello to get to this point of at last locking in a final release date for his album. In past statements, he has said the album was done in early 2015, but he was just waiting for the right time to release the LP. He originally signed the album to Columbia Records, but after differences between Angello and the label, he bought himself out of his contract and how will release the LP through his own record imprint Size Records.
Wild Youth will be released on Jan. 22, 2016. It is available for pre-order on iTunes. Check out the complete album tracklist below. Also stay tuned to the myserious countdown on his website that will end on Nov. 20.
