Demi Lovato has found herself in some hot water with one new song on her album Confident. According to noise rock duo Sleigh Bells, the album track "Stars" rips off two of their songs from their debut album Treats.

Sleigh Bells called out Lovato on Twitter for taking samples of their 2010 tracks "Infinity Guitars" and "Riot Rhythm" for the background music of her album cut "Stars."

Indeed, as Jezebel points out, the similarities are there, especially between "Infinity Guitars" and "Stars." The guitar riffs in the two tracks are nearly identical, and the rip offs become instantly clear when the two tracks are played against each other. It seems as though the drums from "Riot Rhythm" were used for "Stars," which appears on the deluxe version of Confident.

According to Lovato's album notes, she co-wrote the song with Swedish producers Rami and Carl Falk. Lovato has yet to respond to Sleigh Bells' claims that she ripped off their two singles for "Stars." Instead, she's been promoting her recent appearance singing The National Anthem at the 2015 MLB World Series.

Lovato's Confident was released on Friday, Oct. 23. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, behind Pentatonix's self-titled debut album. The record is currently being led by singles "Cool for the Summer" and "Confident."

As for Sleigh Bells, they last released the album Bitter Rivals in 2013.
