Ariana Grande released her latest single, "Focus," last week and in a new interview with UK radio station KISS she talked about how dissimilar it is from all of the others. This is the latest in a string of radio and TV appearances that the singer has had to promote the single and her upcoming album, Moonlight.

In her interview, the singer asserted that the single, which is undeniably poppy and sexualized, is more of a precursor than a predictor to the album.

"That's why I put 'Focus' first, because it's the only one that sort of sounds like that," the singer said on air. "I've been putting little snippets on my Snapchat here and there of a couple things, but I can't say more yet because it's not done."

She continued with the career talk, expressing how the completion of the album is forefront in her mind. The singer recently finished her Honeymoon Tour.

"I'm excited for the next couple of months," the singer further said, "To not only finish 'Moonlight' but to have actual undivided time where I can really just focus on the music. I'm really happy with what we've done so far, but I just feel like once I finally get the time to really dedicate myself 100 percent, I'm going to outdo what we've already done. Maybe."

In other recent Grande news, she was just criticized over the weekend by UK host Jonathan Ross for failing to make a scheduled appearance on his self-titled talk show. The singer was due to perform on The Jonathan Ross Show but pulled a disappearing act. She was reportedly in town but did not show up at the appointed time. Fortunately, the host was able to enlist the other guests Joan Collins, Danny DeVito and Sheridan Smith for an impromptu performance of "Nine To Five" during Grande's time slot.
