Spotify already has already made major waves with its Discover Weekly playlists, but now the streaming service is looking to help its users find even more music, even if it's away from the comfort of your phone. On Thursday (Nov. 12), Spotify announced that it will be rolling out a Concerts feature to sync users with live music in their area.

According to a press release on its website, the Concerts tab starts with the same core idea of the Discover Weekly playlists. The app will pay attention to users' listening habits and will recommend concerts in your area based on the things you're currently jamming to.

But, the app won't just tell fans when your favorite artist comes in to town, Spotify will also make recommendations on new music that you may like, based on your previous listening habits. It takes the discovery of music away from the computer or laptop and brings it back into the live world.

The Concerts feature will work anywhere. Though the recommendations will be based on where you live, if you're out of town and looking for live music, you can resync your location for local gigs.

The feature will begin its rollout today across iOS and Android phones.

Spotify's Concert tab is just the latest discovery feature rolled out by the streaming juggernaut. Earlier this year, the company unveiled its personalized Discover Weekly playlist, which curates a new batch of songs weekly for its users based on your streaming habits.

Discover Weekly has been a huge success. In October, Spotify announced the playlists have amassed over one billion streams.
