When it comes to their unimpressive international record, their fourth place finish in the CONCACAF Cup and other downfalls in 2015, captain Michael Bradley says the past is the past.

"That's all behind us. We play to get to World Cups. The World Cups for us are the pinnacle-what it's all about. The journey is long. It takes us a lot of different places. It's a lot of different games. And that starts [Friday] night. You can only be excited for that," he explained, according to Sports Illustrated.

According to reports, St. Vincent isn't exactly a top contender for the World Cup and is probably not much of a challenge for the US. The New York Times recently covered the team's daunting task of taking on the USMNT, explaining that team captain Darren Hamlett is only a part-time athlete, while working full-time as a Coast Guard officer (via Philly.com).

Though we're sure you're supporting USA, don't you think a victory from the Caribbean side could be the best sports story of 2015?
