Adele's new single "Hello" was no fluke; her new album 25 sounds like it's going to be a stunner. On Tuesday (Nov. 17) just three days before the record's release date, Adele released her second track, "When We Were Young," which she co-wrote with Tobias Jesso Jr.

The live version of "When We Were Young" online now was originally teased on Monday for 60 Minutes Australia. The performance was filmed at The Church Studios, where Adele recorded a portion of 25.

As for the song itself, lyrically, the track is about returning home to see all of the people you once knew and called friends, enemies and lovers. The nostalgia of it all makes you feel just like a kid again.

"Let me photograph you in this light / In case it is the last time / That we might be exactly like we were / Before we realized / We were sad of getting old / It made us restless / It was just like a movie / It was just like a song," she sings in the chorus.

Musically, "When We Were Young" starts off small and slow, but it builds in to a massive crescendo with the sort of passion and vocal prowess that really only Adele possesses. While her old school charms remain intact (and the nostalgic factor of the song adds to this factor), this a bombastic modern sense rooted in it all, which helps to make it yet another standout song.

Adele's new album 25 will be released on Friday, Nov. 20.
