Adam Lambert has just announced American and European tour dates to promote his new album The Original High. He had previously announced the European dates but just teased a US tour as well on Twitter, although he has just added concerts in the United States to the mix. The European dates will begin in early April and run through early May.

The tour includes stops in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Italy and Sweden. It's fitting that Lambert will be touring in Europe, as he has already been there promoting The Original High. In support, he also the season 8 winner of American Idol performed his new single "Another Lonely Night" on Swedish Idol.

Fans will likely be thrilled that Lambert is embarking on his own tour, as it was widely rumored that he was replaced with Nick Jonas for a tour with Demi Lovato in the United States. Since the two share the same management, it was inferred that the higher ups made a decision that Jonas is simply more popular in the industry.

Supposedly, management had already worked out important details with Lambert such as lighting and billing when the switch was made. It was also reported that the three had issues with each other due to re-arrangement, but both Lovato and Lambert debunked those in a Twitter exchange.
