November 13 brought the highly anticipated release of Justin Bieber's fifth studio album, Purpose, which saw the help of EDM producer Skrillex. In a new interview, Sonny Moore talked about his collaboration with Bieber and revealed his favorite track from the album.

Skrillex, Diplo and the 21-year-old pop star put their heads together with Jack U for "Where Are U Now" and from there realized they were a perfect match. "If you hear something that inspires you musically, you just want to be a part of it," Skrillex told NME in an interview of how he was inspired to work with Bieber. "I heard some well-written songs that were really good that they wanted me to do production on and from there, we wrote some new songs. It was an opportunity to try some stuff that I had never done before and we ended up making something really unique."

The Purpose track list seems to suggest it is an album about the Canadian singer growing up, and the former From First to Last frontman agrees with that theme. "His album is so honest to who he is right now," he explained of the "Sorry" singer. "He's still a pop star making pop music, but at the same time, all the stuff I worked on with him had a sense of honesty about it. I'm not saying he wasn't honest before, but when you listen to his lyrics, you can tell he is becoming an adult."

Further detailing his favorite song on the album, Skrillex narrowed it down to "Children," explaining that he believe the track to be Bieber's realization that he's a role model for younger audiences and generations around the world. After having gone through his fair share of teenage hijinks and unimpressive negative encounters, Skrillex interprets the albums as a way for the "What Do You Mean?" singer to spread positivity to the younger fans, according to MTV News.
