G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T has announced that he'll be releasing his next studio album in only a few weeks—but it's not the long-anticipated King Push. Darkest Before Dawn will serve as a prelude to the rapper's next big release, due sometime in the spring.

Pusha told Noisey: "I've been recording so much—I didn't want to break up that body of work ... I feel like I had the producers doing things that they weren't usually known for, a little out of their wheelhouse. I wanted to give the fans that body of work. That's the music I love, and that's the music that my fans love from me. Instead of having those moments throughout King Push, let's just separate the game."

During the interview, the singer cited a slew of high-profile producers for both of his upcoming releases, including including Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Timbaland, Q-Tip, Baauer and Nashiem Myrick. West recently named Push the new president of G.O.O.D. Music, the record label that will release Darkest Before Dawn on Dec. 18. Although there has yet to be a tracklist or cover art revealed by Push, more details are sure to follow in the coming weeks.

So far, the rapper has only released the album's Notorious B.I.G.-sampled, Timbaland-produced lead single "Untouchable," which has one of the most infectious beats we've heard in awhile. The Biggie verse is excerpted from the late rapper's feature on Pudgee's 1995 record "Think Big." The accompanying official music video was produced by Brooke McDaniel via Harrison Boyce Studio and directed by Harrison Boyce himself.
