  • Yeezy Signs Kacy Hill to G.O.O.D. Music After Pusha T Suggests Lil Wayne Join Label

G.O.O.D. Music has a new addition and, despite Pusha T's suggestion, it is not Lil Wayne. Instead, Kanye West has decided to sign Kacy Hill to his label. Hill offered up her debut song "Experience" in September and served as a backup dancer for West during his Yeezus tour. During an interview with "Pigeons and Planes," the model-turned-singer revealed her newfound love for writing music. "'Experience' was one of the first songs that I wrote, so it was only appropriate to release it first," she said. "Writing it was such a freeing experience; I can definitely say it was the first time I felt a real connection with what I was doing in my life. The whole process was so organic and I never want to lose that energy." Hill, like West, also has a deep passion for fashion and hopes it will mesh into her music. She said she wants to make "music that feels good and creates movement in redefining pop and its interaction with fashion." With her G.O.O.D. Music signing, Hill joins the likes of Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, Q-Tip and Teyana Taylor.
  • Pusha T Explains Why He Told Lil Wayne to Join G.O.O.D. Music: Cash Money Rapper Should Collab with Yeezy

Despite his past beef with the Cash Money rapper, Pusha T invited Lil Wayne to join G.O.O.D. Music after the "Believe Me" rhymer took to Twitter to express his dismay with the label. During a recent interview, Push explained the gesture and suggested Wayne should work with Kanye West. The folks at "GQ" caught up with Pusha T to discuss his collaboration with Adidas when Lil'Wayne's name was thrown into the mix. He was asked if he actually wanted Wayne to join the label, and he offered up an interesting response. "I don't know. I just like the fact that I'm a prophet because of my song 'Exodus,'" he said. Released in 2012, Push uses the track to throw shade and mocks what he calls the New Orleans rapper's career self-sabotage: "It came out two years ago! People should just call me 'The Prophet.' You know what? Wayne on G.O.O.D. Music ... Well 'Ye actually likes Wayne, so they could probably make some good music together. But who knows."
  • Pusha T Featured in New Track From Brother and Clipse Member No Malice

The forthcoming solo debut from rapper Pusha T, "My Name Is My Name," isn't enough for rap fans to forget how great Pusha was when he recorded as Clipse with his brother, No Malice. No Malice had a spiritual conversion following the release of the duo's last album, "'Til The Casket Drops," and Jesus didn't quite mesh with the hustler narratives weaved by Clipse. Pusha went to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label and Malice began pursuing his own solo project, an album titled "Hear Ye Him." The first track from that record, "Shame On The Devil" was shared on Funkmaster Flex's website Wednesday.
