Last month, Music Times reported that Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock albums were in the works, and Ab-Soul recently gave fans an update on the status of the album.

XXL reports the TDE rapper tweeted in the wee hours of Wednesday morning that he would be making some changes to his upcoming release.

"Since my release date has yet to be determined I've added a few more songs to my original track list...," he said.

TDE released Schoolboy Q's highly anticipated debut Oxymoron back in February.

Following the release of Oxymoron, TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith announced that the label would be releasing albums from the rest of the roster as well.

"@justsza Z 4.8.14, @abdashsoul ,@jayrock and @kendricklamar coming soon be patient...#TDE #0XYMORON #CilviaDemo OUT NOW!," Tiffith tweeted.

Earlier this year during an interview with Billboard, Tiffith hinted that Kendrick Lamar's album would be released in September.

"In 2014, TDE hopes to lock and load its most ambitious slate of releases: Rashad and the label's first nonrap signing, New Jersey-based female singer-songwriter SZA, will be coming with albums, as will original team members Jay Rock and Ab-Soul," Billboard reported. "Meanwhile, Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy - the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, Rock and Ab-Soul - is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too."

Ab-Soul recently released a new track titled "Tree of Life."
