The release date for August Alsina's sophomore album, This Thing Called Life, is quickly approaching. He recently opened up about the album's tracklist and revealed a new collaboration with Chris Brown called "Been Around The World."

During an interview with Rap-Up, Alsina discussed some of the other features that will be included on his latest release.

Back in August, the New Orleans crooner released a Lil Wayne-assisted cut from the album titled “Why I Do It,” but he did mention that he wanted to keep the features to a minimum this time around. In addition to Wayne and Brown, TTCL will also see guest spots from Jadakiss and Anthony Hamilton.

Alaina seemed especially excited about his collab with Brown, saying, “It’s the dopest record for Chris and I. It’s a very, very fun record. Like I said, I been around the world and experienced a lot of whatever—a lot of girls, a lot of situations, so to sum it up, that’s the song.”

Collaborative albums seem to be on trend these days and the "No Love" singer is apparently up to work on a project with Breezy.

“You never know. It depends on where we at in life,” he said. “I’m so much of a lifestyle artist, it just depends on where we at. But I definitely think it would be a dope situation.”

In the past, the two singers have come together for the remix of Alsina's "I Luv This Sh*t" and DJ Khaled's "Hold You Down." They will tour Australia together in December.

In September, Alsina shared Instagram videos of DJ Khaled praising his new album and comparing it to classics.

“The structure’s unbelievable, man. Not lying to you, it’s on my mama,” Khaled said of Alsina's sophomore release. “I like the way you sequenced the album. I love the music. The only time I’ve ever heard albums like that was Dr. Dre’s Chronic or NasIllmatic.”

Early in November, Alsina announced that TTCL would be released on Dec. 11.
