Today (April 22), the beast that is the EDM remix of "The Muppet Show Theme" from the ever-beloved Muppets dropped on Disney's VEVO, and it's a loud, electronic mess jam that will confuse even the most casual Muppets fans.
Done by Shy Kidx, the new version of "The Muppet Show Theme" buries the fun-loving vocals of the original into the heavy EDM beat. And when I saw heavy, I mean heavy. This thing is speakers bursting through the floor, window-shattering with weight. And that's when its played at a respectable volume.
The accompanying music video is equally terrifying. It takes trippy, tye-dyed effects and blends them together with looped (and loopy) footage of various muppets running around the screen, turning heads and fading in and out of the background.

The new version of this classic Muppets song is just one of 13 songs on the upcoming Dconstructed compilation album, which takes classic Disney songs and puts them in the hands of some of the biggest DJs. Other songs getting an EDM remix include "Circle Of Life," "Let It Go," "Once Upon A Dream" and "You've Got A Friend In Me."
