Taylor Swift is the most popular person on Instagram, so it only makes sense that the "Wildest Dreams" singer's posts would be among the most popular of the year on the photo-sharing app. On Wednesday (Dec. 2), Instagram announced its 10 most-liked pictures of the year, and Swift dominated the list with five of the biggest posts of the year.
The No. 1 most-liked photo honor eluded Swift, and went to Kendall Jenner's famous "heart hair" photo, as The Detroit Free Press reports. But, Swift came in strong with the Nos. 2 and 3 posts. Her post-VMAs rose block from Kanye West was the second-most liked picture of the year with 2.6 million fans approving. An intimate snapshot of herself with her boyfriend Calvin Harris nabbed the No. 3 most-liked honor with 2.5 million likes.

Swift, who credits her massive 57 million-plus Instagram followers to her cats does seem to owe her pets some credits. Pictures with her cat Meredith got the sixth, eighth and ninth most-liked honors.
Swift wasn't the only musician who fared well on Instagram this year. A portrait of Beyoncé with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter was the fifth most-liked post in 2015 with 2.3 million hearts. Selena Gomez's favorite sweater selfie was also a favorite with 2.3 million likes.
