Brand New have announced the official release of their leaked 2006 demos on cassette format, orders for which have already begun to ship. The nine-track, red Leaked Demos cassette is currently available for purchase at the Procrastinate! Music Traitors website, just in time to make the perfect alt-rock Christmas gift.
The songs, which have been floating around the Internet for nearly a decade, hadn't yet been released via official means.
Fans have been anxiously awaiting new material from Brand New for quite some time now, and while the release of Leaked Demos isn't quite the same thing, it's still a good hold over. The band's last album, Daisy, was released in 2009.

Although the band dropped a heavy new studio song titled "Mene" earlier this year, as well as debuted another new softer song titled "Sealed to Me" in concert, handing out lyric sheets to attendees, there has been no update on a new studio album that was supposedly planned for a 2015 release. In fact, the band's frontman Jesse Lacey recently broke down into tears on stage while proclaiming that the band wouldn't last much longer.
